Before looking only at renders, I would like to visit completed buildings. What would you observe in maintenance, common areas, finishes, management and the surrounding area without assuming another project will be identical?

What can you learn by visiting completed projects?

I would look at elevators, common areas, paint, moisture, cleanliness, parking and how finishes age. That gives a useful visual reference.
If possible, I would speak with building management about common expenses and maintenance. The cost of operating the building is also part of the owner experience.
I would use the visit as a reference, not as a guarantee for another project. Every building, supplier, period and location can be different.
