What would you do if your income changes during a long-term plan · for a first investment?

I am opening this topic to collect practical questions and experiences from the community. I want to compare verifiable information, read the contract carefully and separate personal expectations from guaranteed conditions. What would you review, and which document or data point would you request before moving forward? The goal is to leave useful answers for local and international buyers researching apartments, off-plan projects or financed options in Asuncion.

I would start by requesting current conditions in writing and building a table with cost, term, location and obligations. The monthly payment alone is not enough for me to compare options.

I find it useful to separate three things: what the advertising says, what the advisor explains and what is actually written in the contract. If all three match, even better.

I would also add a conservative scenario: what happens if the exchange rate changes, the timeline shifts or income is lower for a few months? That helps avoid making a decision based only on enthusiasm.
